Most denominations and Christian organizations have a written statement of faith declaring what they believe about certain subjects.
Even though we have no intent of starting a religious organization, we get a lot of requests asking us to summarize our beliefs. This is in no way intended to be understood as doctrine or to be followed by others. This is just an attempt to communicate our revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Again, this is our revelation and it does not necessarily have to align with your revelation of the Gospel. Alignment automatically happens when we strip the Gospel of all material/earthly requirements that religion has placed upon us. When we are allowed to simply be we will discover the glorious spiritual being that Christ created in us.
So please treat this as an imperfect attempt of using imperfect means of communication to communicate a perfect event – the Gospel of Jesus Christ! That is all it is, nothing more and nothing less.
God created man in His own image. In His likeness. Man was created perfect in Spirit. God is Spirit and therefore man was created in His image spiritually.
Man doubted (unbelief) his spiritual union and perfection with God and as a result died spiritually. Man out of his own will gave up spiritual life and became a fallen being (from God’s spiritual perspective). Man became a mere human being without the life and nature of God (His Spirit) living inside of him.
Because man’s problem was the absence of God’s life (the absence of His Spirit) there was no human solution to the problem. Man could not bring back the life and nature of God by his own efforts. No good deed could change the fact that God’s Spirit was absent in humankind. Following a law or keeping a set of rules and regulations could not change man’s real problem – spiritual death.
Knowing that only one thing could change man’s dilemma, God did the unthinkable. He became man Himself (in the form of Jesus Christ). Jesus represented a new breed of being, 100% God and 100% man. God’s Spirit was fully alive in Jesus and through His death, burial and resurrection, He restored spiritual life (God’s life) to man. He reunited man with God (spiritually). God’s Spirit could now live in humanity again. This is the single most important event since the creation and fall of man. Humans no longer have to be bound by spiritual death (separation from God), they again possess His life and nature and can once again live in perfect union with Him (spiritually).
Jesus came for one specific reason and He fulfilled His purpose and commission in every way. Everything He was sent to accomplish, He actually did accomplish. He was not sent to show how man should live (human effort), rather He was sent to restore spiritual life (God’s Spirit) to man. He became man so that man could become one with God. This was accomplished almost 2,000 years ago and Christ’s last words before His death on the cross still resound clearly today: “It is finished!”
The gift of God’s life (His Spirit through Jesus Christ) was entirely His decision and He gave himself (Jesus Christ) without any limits, restrictions or conditions on our part. True love will never have any strings attached to it. God’s life is available to all of mankind and God does not and never will expect any human effort in return. All that God requires is for man to trade his fallen life (sin nature) in return for God’s perfect spiritual life (Christ).
Unbelief (in the garden) was the root of the problem that caused spiritual death for mankind. Therefore the only way to receive spiritual life (God’s life) now, is to believe that Jesus actually restored it to mankind. Not based on man’s efforts or anything that man could do, but based on God’s free gift (love) and what He has already done. By believing the fact that God’s life is now alive in mankind (spiritually), man now possesses the Spirit of God and perfection has been restored to mankind.
Through Jesus’ finished work, man has been introduced to a new realm – the Kingdom of God. A kingdom that is not to come some day in the future but a kingdom that has already come and is reality now! This new kingdom is a spiritual realm in which spiritual truth reigns and man is perfectly united with God. In this spiritual realm, God’s standard (His perfect life and peace) is already attained. It has already been given to man. The Kingdom of God has come! In this spiritual realm there is no lack, no need and no want. There is no more trying, no more doing, no more accomplishing – it has been accomplished by Jesus Christ for mankind. Indeed, man has come to fullness of life!
God no longer sees man as a fallen human being (sinner) but He sees man as a perfect spiritual being, recreated in His image. He sees man through what Jesus has accomplished – restoration of His perfect nature (Spirit of God) to man. Man’s nature is no longer corrupt (based on sin, fallen nature) rather it is based on perfection – it is based on God’s perfect spiritual nature. The kingdom of God has come!
Love would not be love if man did not receive a free will. God’s love was so great that He did not hold anything back. Man was created like God. But in doing so, He had to give man a choice, a free will. If God would have created man without a free will, man would not have been created in the image and likeness of God. It wouldn’t have been true love. Thanks to Christ’s perfect sacrifice, we have been restored back to His image and likeness in perfect authority. If we don’t realize that we now possess this new nature and authority, then the result is what we see today in this world. Sorrow, lack, frustration, sickness, disease, depression, etc. Every person is their own master. It is up to man to accept spiritual life as truth now, as reality now and choose to dwell in this spiritual realm established by Christ.
Christianity is not about doing (living a certain way), it is about being (being one with God). God does not need man to change his actions (doing) because God has changed man’s nature (being). The being will always precede the doing. Who man is will always affect what man does. How we see ourselves will always affect how we act. Therefore, man’s actions will never determine his being (nature), but rather his being (who he is, his nature) will determine his actions. Changing man’s perception of himself – recreated in God’s image, one with Him, now in this world – is the only way man can bring lasting fruit. Fruit can never be produced but it is the automatic result of union (oneness). The fruit of the Spirit is the result of man being one with God! Perception is now key, perception is reality!
Truth is truth because it is unchangeable. If spiritual truth would be subject to earthly circumstances, it would not be truth. Truth does not depend on man being able to comprehend it with his senses. Man’s new spiritual life is truth and it exists independent of circumstances, independent of the material/earthly world and independent of man’s senses. There was no earthly circumstance that could change how Jesus viewed himself. He repeatedly chose to identify himself by his spiritual nature (truth): „I and the father are one!” This is the truth that overcame the world. When Jesus died on the cross, it was not because this world had overcome truth (God’s spiritual nature) but it was because of his own free choice. He laid down his life out of his free will and not because any power in this world took it from him. He did it for and because of us! Perfect love!
When man chooses to do the same and identifies himself with truth (God), there is no greater power than who man has become. There is no storm in this world that is greater than man’s perception of his oneness with God. No power in this world that could alter truth (man’s unity with God). When man chooses to build on that foundation by repeatedly identifying with truth (The Truth – Christ), he will live a life in perfect peace. A life independent of circumstances. A life free of fear. Truly it has become “Intimate Truth” to man!
